After a discussion about the understanding of the experience I have decided to implement a stronger interface where the material change is more directed by the user in the space.
I have decided to do this by creating a blank space where the user can paint the surfaces of the space and make decisions about the VOC content in the space.
I will also have to do more research about VOC's to make the space more educational.
I worked with Leap Motion UI's to make the it easy to use with the hands as controllers.
