For this experiment i created a space which addressed issues of Deforestation and Paper waste. The game will enhance the acknowledgement of deforestation where excess paper is used. For every pack of paper it takes 66 tonnes of water to produce it. People still however use paper however in excess and this is having a massive impact on our forests and areas which home native animals. This is an ecological issue where people in urban spaces often don't see the physical impact. I have created a space which allows people to experience the harm to our forests and engage with the space. This virtual environment relies on some reasonable spatial factors such as landscape and imagery of trees as these entities locate the viewer to where the issue is happening. Also if this experience was to change the impact of their actions in physical space, then they must engage with the reasonable cognitive phycology that this space could exist. The interaction of the space is integral to the experience as well, as it is a simulation of how they interact with objects in physical space and how if they adjust their physical actions, what impact this will have on the environment being portrayed. The interaction of this site intends interaction with paper waste materials such as food packaging and news papers. As you pick up more and more material and place them in the virtual bin, each tree will start falling down. This depicting the impact that paper waste has on the trees. For each 3 trees that fall down, one of the birds that inhabit the space will fly away. This depicting the uninhabitable space that they are creating through paper waste. The virtual experience will be dubbed with facts about how much paper waste an individual has in each day and speak about similar areas and animals that have been impacted.
