It has been clear to me that the research position is unlocated to a group of works that have surrounded their work around this topic of virtual reality storytelling. I have been advised to look at where it has been used in museums to try and locate the research in a position next to others who have used it in their theory/practice. I think that this will further define the spatial agenda that this kind of research could inform. I have also been told that the experiments I have made have not been clear as to what I was looking to gain and find out about immersion in virtual relalities. I must assess my experiments further to discuss the findings and how they informed my ongoing research direction and later experiments.
I wrote a response to where I think I need to be heading towards in order to present my research and findings in location to a spatial agenda.
It is clear that my work has lacked a spatial design agenda which is aligned with other spatial theory and work. I have looked into media and representation of 'virtual spaces' through a lens and although I think that this is useful to understand the strengths and limitations to immersion in virtual space, I need to look at places (sites) where these virtual spaces are being implemented. I have been advised that a site with ground the topic into the 'presense pedagogy' which I have explained informs the strengths of learning from being engaged in a space.
