To inform the user explicitly what has change in the environment it is important to include a user interface which lets the user know how the surface material of the wood has changed and how this has impacted the space. This will be done by notifying the user that the material has changed from an oil based stain to a water based stain and how the volatile organic compounds in the space have lowered because of this change.
